Frequently Asked Questions

For Clients

What are your terms of business?

Our terms of business are tailored to each client and assignment. Factors such as exclusivity, recruitment volume, role complexity and hiring requirements can all influence the structure of our agreement.

As an independent consultancy, we offer a flexible approach and work closely with our clients to ensure our terms provide both value and the level of service required to deliver a successful outcome.

If you'd like to discuss your hiring needs, please get in touch using the form below and we'll be happy to talk through the options available.

Why do you work with a limited number of clients?

We believe recruitment is about quality, not quantity. By partnering with a select number of clients at any one time, we're able to dedicate more time, attention and resource to each assignment, resulting in a more responsive service and better hiring outcomes.

How quickly can you provide candidates?

Every assignment is different, but we aim to present suitable candidates as quickly as possible without compromising on quality. Timescales will depend on the role, location, salary and market conditions, which we'll discuss during our initial consultation

Unlike larger agencies, we intentionally limit the number of clients and vacancies we work on at any one time. This allows us to remain responsive, focused and fully committed to each assignment, ensuring your vacancy receives the attention it deserves rather than competing with dozens of others.

What industries do you recruit for?

With over 15 years of recruitment experience, we've successfully supported clients across a wide range of industries, including Engineering, Construction, Facilities Management, IT, FMCG, Commercial and Business Support.

Over the last four years, I've specialised primarily in Engineering, Construction and Facilities Management recruitment, building strong networks and developing a deep understanding of the skills, challenges and market conditions within these sectors.

That said, great recruitment is about more than industry knowledge alone. With a detailed brief and a genuine understanding of the role, company culture and hiring objectives, recruitment principles can be successfully applied across almost any sector. My consultative approach allows me to adapt quickly and deliver the right talent, regardless of industry.

I have a vacancy, what are the next steps?

Simply get in touch by phone, email or through our enquiry form. We'll arrange a conversation to understand your hiring needs, discuss the role in detail and recommend the most effective recruitment approach.

Once we're aligned, we'll get to work identifying, engaging and securing the right talent for your business, keeping you informed every step of the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

For Candidates

What do you require from candidates during the screening process?

If you're being considered for a live vacancy, we'll arrange a screening call either by phone or via Microsoft Teams. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your experience, career goals and suitability for the role, while also giving you the chance to ask any questions you may have.

The screening process typically takes around 15-20 minutes. If our initial contact comes at an inconvenient time, we'll happily arrange a call that works better for you.

Should we both agree that the opportunity is a good fit, we'll then complete the necessary compliance checks before submitting your application. This includes verifying your identity and right to work in the UK, which are legal requirements. We may ask for documents such as a passport, visa (where applicable) and proof of address.

These checks help ensure a smooth recruitment process and allow us to represent you to prospective employers with confidence.

Is there a fee for candidates?

No. Our service is completely free for candidates seeking employment opportunities.

I'm looking for a new role, but I don't see any suitable vacancies. What should I do?

Not all of our opportunities are advertised. Many of the roles we work on are filled through our existing network of candidates or are handled on a confidential basis.

If you don't see a suitable vacancy on our website, we'd still love to hear from you. Simply send us your CV along with a brief overview of the type of role you're looking for, and we'll keep your details on file for future opportunities that match your skills and experience.

We're always happy to have an initial conversation and offer honest advice on the current market, even if we don't have the right opportunity available immediately.

Will my CV be sent to employers without my permission?

Never. We will always discuss an opportunity with you and obtain your consent before sharing your CV or personal information with any client.

Will I receive feedback after an interview?

Wherever possible, yes. We believe communication is important and will always aim to provide feedback received from the employer in a timely manner.
